(Washington, DC) – August 21, 2017 — The Association of Proposal Management Professionals (APMP®), the global voice for proposal management certification, announced today that BidWrite has become its newest APMP Approved Training Organization (ATO).
This Australian based firm becomes the tenth ATO authorized to offer APMP-Foundation™ level training and the first English speaking firm in the Asia Pacific region. BidWrite will concentrate its efforts on continuing to build APMP certification awareness and professional development in the region.
BidWrite has the largest number of APMP certified consultants of any company in Asia Pacific, is an APMP Gold Level Corporate Member and has been a strong APMP advocate since it commenced operations in 2008.
"We welcome BidWrite into our growing family of APMP ATO’s that support our certification program,” said Rick Harris, Executive Director of APMP. "There is no doubt that this announcement continues to support APMP’s extraordinary worldwide reach. BidWrite’s Managing Director and lead trainer, Nigel Dennis, has been actively investing in the APMP for many years by starting the Australia New Zealand Chapter, as a former international board member, and as an APMP Fellow. BidWrite recently made its 10th consecutive appearance at USA’s annual Bid & Proposal Con, a feat appreciated and admired because it is on the opposite side of the world
All prospective ATOs must go through an exhaustive approval process to ensure they meet the high quality course delivery of APMP certification standards. The process includes designating a lead trainer, attending and auditing workshops, developing course materials that meet APMP certification standards. They must also demonstrate a successful record of training professionals.
"BidWrite commenced delivering APMP-Foundation™ level training three years ago under the guidance and support from Jon Williams of existing UK ATO Strategic Proposals. Being appointed an APMP ATO in its own right is now a tremendous opportunity for BidWrite to continue its commitment to proposal professionalism and APMP certification in this part of the world,”said Mr. Dennis.
He added that he believes APMP certification is the best way for individuals and organizations to develop internationally recognized, high-level competence in formal bidding practices
