APMP Announces Members Only, Free Webinar Series
APMP International offers tips and techniques on how to maximize member benefits
Washington, DC, August 10, 2012
– The
Association of Proposal Management
Professionals®
(APMP®) announced that it will host a
webinar series, free to APMP members, detailing useful information on how members
around the world can maximize their member benefits, to succeed in the
proposal management, bid, business development and capture
industries.
The APMP Membership Enrichment
Series will begin in September 2012, and will be held of the third Wednesday
of the month, from 2 – 3 p.m. ET. The first session of the series, A Tour of www.apmp.org,
will walk members through the Association's website, an
electronic library featuring hundreds of archived best-practices
presentations, articles, and templates and the source of member-only networking
opportunities. The October session, Make APMP
Member Benefits Work for You, will address how to access the top-rated APMP
member benefits identified in the
APMP Member Benefits Survey 2012
. In November, the session
Customizing Your APMP Accreditation Path
, will illustrate why accreditation is important and
what steps members should take to choose a accreditation plan that best meets their
professional goals. The year's Membership Enrichment Series will end with a session
intended for APMP Chapter leadership, Getting the Most out of Your Local Chapter, and will focus on information to help chapters
maximize retention, growth and ROI in the coming year.
"We want to provide the membership with ideas on how to become more active in the
association and how to take advantage of their member benefits, in response to feedback
received in the APMP Member Benefits Survey
2012,” said Rick Harris, Executive Director, APMP. "This is something that
all members around the globe will be able to take advantage of and is included
in their membership dues.”
